| Fundraising for
Shepherd Wheel: FoPV has embarked on a project to restore Shepherd Wheel Dam, the water wheel and associated workshops. The total cost of the restoration is estimated to be over £900,000. Initially we need £20,000 to add to monies raised from other sources. Every £1 that people contribute will help us to secure a further £9 from grants, and will be worth more if Giftaid is used. Please help us to reach our target. There are several ways you can contribute towards our initial target of £20,000: 1. Make a donation. 2. Send someone the gift of a donation towards our fund (just like giving a goat through Oxfam, or sponsoring a pane of glass at the Botanical Gardens for a friend!). Click here to download a Word document with a form for making a donation or ordering gift cards. 3. Collect your old printer cartridges and mobile phones. Bring them along to the next Open Meeting and Ros Hancock will convert them into money! (Please not that we cannot accept Epson cartridges, or damaged ones.) Cartridges are refilled and resold. Mobile phones are either refurbished and sold, or sent to specialist recycling facilities to extract components and precious metals for reuse.
